Today we celebrated the end of summer and the start of the school year with the 2nd Annual End-of-Summer Neighborhood party at our house. I can pretty confidently say the kids had a blast! There was a lot for them to do including a bounce house, potato sack races, face painting (a new skill I can tack on to Brian’s ever-expanding list of talents), and of course the new zip line Brian installed in the back yard (we even had two 3-year-old girls brave enough to try it)!
This event last year was the first time we got some of the families with young kids from the neighborhood together and since then we have been lucky enough to form some good friendships (both adults and kiddos)!! A fun day was had by all!
