It is hard to believe that it will be February this week and it is the first time the girls have been able to go sledding in our yard this year! B and the girls took advantage of the nice weather today and spent almost two hours in the backyard sledding. They had a blast and I am happy to report that no one ran into a tree (well at least too hard)!
Meanwhile, James and I spent some time together going through all his toys in the family room. Time to get rid of all his “baby” toys! We of course also took time for a snack (good ol’ fig newtons) so I took advantage of him sitting still to grab a few photos. (That of course does not happen very often.)
Overall we had a very nice weekend. We all went to a birthday party for the girls’ friend on Saturday at Pump It Up. Even James had a blast running around the place and LOVED going down the big slide. He would get to the top with Brian and said “Go!” the entire way down while laughing. Apparently he takes after his thrill seeking sisters. I was able to organize the girls’ playroom and it only took me like 4 hours! One project done and now another 20 to go. Oh and I can’t forget to mention we watched Scream 4. I told Brian he is never allowed to prank phone call me ever or else he will be sleeping in the garage. If you haven’t seen it, I actually recommend it. I never would have guessed the ending! All in all…a fun but too short weekend.
