Daycare Halloween Party
This week is filled with Halloween parties and fun times! It started with last night at the girls' annual daycare Halloween party. This year Katelin decided to be Dorothy (all because she wanted me to buy her a new pair of glittery red shoes and that was a guarantee for that costume - smart girl!). Annie was originally going to be Cinderella, then wanted to be Annie from the movie, then decided on Arial (but the costume was too long) and finally settled on Minnie Mouse just this week! Even James got into the spirit in a little cow costume (although some thought he was a dog!). The girls had a great time at their party playing games, getting their hair spray painted, and playing with friends. It is always such a joy watching them have fun interacting with other kids! We are looking forward to our other parties this weekend too!

Grammy Myrt's 90th!
This past weekend we were lucky enough to help my Grandma Myrt celebrate her 90th birthday! We had a party at the Wayzata Fire Department where much of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren attended. She even had a wonderful surprise with her granddaughter Leslie flying in to surprise her from Maryland! We all chipped in and got her a new large flat screen TV! Of course she was concerned about it fitting in her apartment but we assured her that it would fit and she would get an awesome picture when watching all her favorite sports (Wolves, Twins, Gophers, Vikes...you name it and she watches it)! My cousin Lorrie rented a Bingo machine and we all played Bingo for a few hours and had a great time! We are already looking forward to her 91st birthday party next year :) Here are a few pictures to remember the fun day!

James William Clemens
Our little guy arrived on October 8th @ 1:16pm. He was 8lbs, 4ozs of pure cuteness. It's been 5 days since his arrival and so far so good.....sleep is a little sparce, especially for Mom, but all things considered it's been a good start to what is likely to be a much bigger adjustment than we're expecting. Welcome to the family James!

End of Summer Fun
Dad recently took Katelin and Annie to Como Town for some end of summer fun before their new little brother arrived and while Mom got some much needed rest at home. The girls had an awesome time, the weather was incredible.....and surprisingly it wasn't very crowded so it was easy to get on rides with little or no waiting.....and we know what that means! More Tilt-A-Whirl!! Although, this time, the girls had finally had enough of the ride because by the end of the day and 6 trips to the Tilt-A-Whirl, Annie was starting to feel queezy and Kate just sorta got quiet. Normally they're both laughing the whole time. Neither were good signs and we were fortunate that the ride was stopping just as Annie said she wanted off! Poor girls. We all agreed it was time to go home and both girls were snoozing before we made it to the highway. Thankfully Kate's face painting didn't rub off on her car seat and clothing. Check out the pics!
