We have a new computer!

Sad that this is the first post since February but it’s a post nonetheless! So much has happened since then; we’ve been to Omaha to see our friends Bridget and Sam and family and also making the trip there were Lori and Mike and family. It was a great time for all. We found out the sex of the new baby… and if for some reason you didn’t know already we’re having a boy this September! Crazy. We’re all incredibly excited and can’t believe is only 3 months away!!!!!!!! As Annie would say “Holy Moly!”. Speaking of Annie, she turned 3 on May 23rd and we had a great party with the Minnesota side of the family here, though, we were all missing our Michigan fam….well except for Grandpa Larry and Grandma Shirley who made the long drive over here for the party! It was awesome to have them here again. The girls also had their first ever dance recital together the same day as the party. Katelin had her first recital last year and this year was Annie’s first and their first one together! They look really cute in the picture – we’ll have to get it scanned in and posted soon.

Oh, and the girls have taken their first swim classes! They had A BLAST and made great progress for their ages. Katelin graduated to the next level and Annie was oh so close……but was sometimes a little too easily distracted by all the other students in the pool. Lets hope that’s not foreshadowing for when Annie is actually in school!

We also picked up season passes to Como Town Park for the girls and we’ve already made a few trips there for the girls to get their fill of rides in….this year they added the Tilt A Whirl!! Good thing dad can handle rides well because the girls wanted to go on 4 or 5 times in a row during our fist visit!

Oh let’s see, what else? I know I’m missing a lot and it’s possible we might post some pictures for some of these things even though they’re long gone, but better late than never right!?!?!

Lastly, this new computer has allowed us to de-clutter our desk and hopefully the new life that it’s injected into that area will give us the kickstart we needed to get moving with our blog again. If you’ve read this far – thanks for not giving up on us! If not – we’ll never know so who cares??
