Katelin's Original Artwork
Kate surprised mom and melted her heart today with an early Valentine's day card... in fact she surprised all of us when we opened it and saw the artwork and lettering she did! Pretty good for a 4yr old!

Wow. Can you say slackers!?!
Wow, it's been much longer than we realized since our last post! So much has happened since then; we traveled to Bay City for Christmas and spent a week there with the family. On the way there we stopped in Geneva and stayed the night since the weather was getting pretty rough but once we made it to Bay City the girls loved taking care of their baby cousin Preston and had a blast playing with their cousin Trennan too! Visited La Pizza for some of the worlds best bread sticks and found out Annie is as big a fan as dad is! And of course the loved the Christmas presents! We also dug into Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Larry's storage areas and took a trip down memory lane finding dad's old Lego sets, Matchbox cars and car village, and Hungy Hungry Hippos to name a few!.....too bad HHH was broken. :( We spent New Years Eve with Uncle Terry, Aunt Kristen, and Uncle Chris and had a great time keeping it low key the night before we drove back. On the way back we drove smack dab into the middle of a whiteout near Kalamazoo and found ourselves driving about 5 mph with our hazards on.. it was a tense 30 minutes but we made it out fine and continued to drive the entire way back to MN in one day. Let's see, what else...the girls made Christmas cookies with mom, we built a huge 6ft pile of snow off the driveway for some sledding (though Annie still isn't a huge fan!), we had great Christmas party's with all the family here, and we've had a lot of fun playing with the girls and all the fun new stuff they received for Christmas. Here are some of the pics!
